The Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of the Year Championship was supposed to be a season-ending celebration for the top 50 competitors in the points.
It turned out to be a battle of attrition as big winds, big waves and big water kept the field on the sidelines for 3 days. When the dust settled and following 2 days of thrilling smallmouth fishing, Greg Hackney proved to be the best of the best in 2014, claiming the AOY title.
