It was more of the same on day 2 of the Forrest Wood Cup at Lake Murray today as competitors continued to hammer points and offshore brush/cane piles in search of schooling or suspended bass.

The conditions were quite a bit different compared to Friday, when cloud cover hung around for the majority of the morning. Today, whatever clouds there were parted quickly and the lake was drenched in sunshine with a slight breeze, which seemed to be the liking of those working topwater and sub-surface baits as it put a bit of a ripple on the ultra-clear water.
