Today on BassFan, we unveil a new weekly feature called The Community Hole that will highlight what we felt were the best, most interesting, informative and/or outrageous social media posts from the world of pro bass fishing from the last seven days.

In recent years, social media platforms have become a daily (sometimes hourly) presence in our lives and allow us to connect and keep up with friends, family, business associates, and the world at large. It’s been no different in the fishing industry as pros have turned to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube to open up lines of communication with their fans and sponsors while showcasing their lives on the road and at home.

The goal of The Community Hole is to highlight something you may have missed or introduce you to a photograph that caught our eye or some additional insight a pro offered up about a recent tournament outcome. Either way, we’ll do our best to pick a timely, useful and entertaining mix of posts each week to share with you.

If you feel like we missed something, feel free to drop us a note on Facebook or tweet us @BassFanNews.
