BoatUS Angler backs Dove

BoatUS Angler, the fishing boat insurance program that also offers roadside boat-trailer assistance and on-the-water towing, announced today that it has re-signed Kurt Dove to its national pro-staff. Dove competed in the Bassmaster Elite Series for 3 seasons from 2006-2008 and will return to Elite competition in 2013.

In the interim, he'sbeen guiding full-time on Lake Amistad in Del Rio, Texas. The last 2 years he recaptured his desire to return to the top level of competitive bass fishing and re-qualified for the Elites through the 2012 Bassmaster Northern Opens.

"Kurt has been working with our team for several years now and he has become an angler who has shown us great value in promoting our marine insurance program and our 24/7 on-the-road and on-the-water towing services," said BoatUS Angler brand manager Steve Levi. "Kurt will continue to provide content for our newsletter, pro-staff blogs and upcoming video section at BoatUSAngler.com. We also look forward to teaming up with Kurt and presenting one of our members with a unique opportunity that we will announce this coming spring."

Said Dove: "I'm stoked to strengthen my relationship with BoatUS Angler. You keep hearing these stories about how members have been assisted with untimely breakdowns – whether it's getting towed back to the launch ramp or given help when their rig is broken down on the side of the road. It makes you proud to help more anglers become aware of a service that saves valuable time and money. Not to mention when you have a great tournament, you can get rewarded with the BoatUS Angler Weigh-to-Win contingency program."
