Andy Morgan told BassFan today that he's switching boat brands and will run a Bullet on the 2013 FLW Tour.
"They're based right here out of Knoxville, Tenn., and the first bass boat I ever had was a Bullet," said Morgan, who moves over from Bass Cat. "I won one of them one time and I've had five or six others. I actually ran one when I first started with FLW.
"They're wanting to get away from the speed thing a little bit and prove that they're a little more fishable. I'll be running the new XRS with an Evinrude 250 Ė quick, efficient, and more fishability than ever before!"
Morgan is currently the only tour-level angler on the Bullet pro staff.
"We're delighted to have him on board," said Bullet's Kevin Keith. "I think it speaks volumes about how good our boats really are. We've been building bass boats for 32 years, so we're doing something right."
The company's new 21XRS, which blends many of the best features from models in the existing line, will be introduced this week. It can be seen at local dealerships soon, and at fishing and boating shows in the following locations over the next several weeks:
