Brauer to fish Texas EverStarts

Brauer to fish Texas EverStarts

According to a news story posted on the FLW website today, Denny Brauer will fish the 2013 Texas EverStart division.

Brauer, who retired from Bassmaster Elite Series competition earlier this year, owns a home near Lake Amistad so travel won't be much of an issue. The four EverStarts are slated to be held at Amistad, Toledo Bend, Lake Texoma and Sam Rayburn Reservoir.

If he were to win the Angler of the Year (AOY) title for the division, he'd qualify for the 2014 Forrest Wood Cup.

“I really don’t have any goals right now except to have a good time and fish with some friends,” he told Colin Moore, the editor of FLW Bass Magazine. “But if I enter a tournament, I’m going to fish as hard as I can. If I wind up getting in the Forrest Wood Cup, that would be pretty cool.”
