Stanford launches video contest

Stanford Lures, the producer of hand-made cedar crankbaits, has launched a video contest called the National Championship Bass Bowl that runs through Jan. 7. Entrants must catch a fish on a Stanford bait and submit a video of the catch to the company's Facebook page.

The video receiving the most "likes" on the page will be deemed the winner. The prize package includes five top-selling Stanford crankbaits, a Stanford T-shirt and the National Championship Bass Bowl trophy.

The size of the fish might not determine the winning entry – other potential factors include (but are not limited to) the quality and creative nature of the video, type of fish, use of lure, type of lure and potential narrative of video.
