Fred Roumbanis rallied from 6th place to win the Neely Henry PAA Tournament Series in Alabama today as a 12.95-pound sack on the final day gave him a 3-day total of 38.71. Bassmaster Elite Series pros swept the Top 4 places as Paul Elias was 2nd, John Crews 3rd and Greg Hackney 4th.
Hackney led after day 2, but his 10.38 bag was more than 3 pounds lighter that those he'd weighed on the first 2 days. Day-1 leader Kenny Pannell, a resident of nearby Springville, Ala., caught just 6 1/2 pounds today and ended up 13th.
