Paul Malone caught a three-fish limit weighing 11-07 today to capture the victory at the Mississippi River Central EverStart with a 3-day total of 30-05.
Fishing his first career EverStart, the Pleasant Valley, Iowa resident edged Zach King by 6 ounces.
Due to restrictions put in place by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for tournaments in July and August, anglers were limited to a three-fish limit during the event, placing a premium on 3-pound and bigger bites.
