Tony Bean dies

BassFan learned today that smallmouth guru Tony Bean has died at age 63. The Tennessee resident (pictured with Ray Scot) was a popular seminar speaker on smallmouth fishing, authored three books on the topic and developed his own line of tackle for catching bronzebacks.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Central on Tuesday at Williamson Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Franklin, Tenn. A funeral service will follow.
