The Bass University will conduct its first session of the 2012 season this weekend in Shreveport, La. The speaker list consists of George Cochran, Scott Martin, Ish Monroe, Pete Gluszek, Fred Roumbanis and Brandon Palaniuk.
Topics to be covered include sonar, GPS, structure scan, seasonal patterns, the shakey-head, dissecting a new body of water, wakebaits, topwater frogging, shallow-water power-fishing, wacky-worming, floating worms, shallow cranking, flipping/punching, finding and catching deep-water fish, deep dropshotting and swimbaits.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at the Shreveport Convention Center. The cost is $199 for adults and $175 for youths age 17 and under.
