Duckett fishing announced today that Alabama Bassmaster Elite Series angler Keith Poche has joined the company's pro staff.
“Keith is a terrific young angler and quality person, and we’re pleased that he will be joining the Duckett Fishing pro staff,” owner and CEO Boyd Duckett said. “It was gratifying to know that Keith has been using our rods, and folks who followed the Elite Series this year know that he had a heck of a year.”
Poche had two Top-10 finishes during the 2011 season. He joins a pro staff that also includes Duckett, Kelly Jordon, Terry Scroggins, Tim Horton, Byron Velvick, Jason Quinn, Jason Williamson and Pete Ponds.
“I’ve been fishing with Duckett rods for a while now," he said. "They’re good for smashing, they’re good for finesse. The rods are just great all-around. To tell you the truth, it’s just an awesome stick.
“And it’s a really good feeling to join a group of anglers like the guys that Boyd’s put together. It’s a great team, and I’m happy to be a part of it.”
