BU adds Chicago dates

The Bass University has added a Chicago stop to its 2012 schedule. It's set for Jan. 28-29 as part of the Chicago Outdoor Sportsmen Show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

“The bass anglers in this part of the country are among the most dedicated and passionate anglers in the world," said BU co-owner Mike Iaconelli. "We are very excited to join forces with the Chicago Outdoor Sportsmen Show and bring our program back to the Chicago area.”

The program will consist of two 8-hour sessions in which students will have access to two comprehensive seminars from each instructor. There will also be hands-on breakout and roundtable question-and-answer periods. Each student will receive a BU T-shirt, tackle pack and course booklet.

Instructors for the session will be Iaconelli, Pete Gluszek, Kevin Short, Ott Defoe, Randy Howell and Fred Roumbanis.

Tickets are priced at $199 for adults and $175 for youths age 17 and under. A 15% discount is being offered through Dec. 15.
