FLW Tour pro Keith Combs took a big step toward securing a 2011 Bassmaster Classic berth today by moving into the lead at the Texoma Bassmaster Central Open. His 11-10 bag, compiled with a crankbait and a worm, gave him a 2-day total of 20-06.
Combs brought one of five limits to the scales. Only three limits were weighed on day 1.
Two former Bassmaster Elite Series pros were directly behind Combs on the leaderboard – Jeff Reynolds was 2nd with 19-04 and Jay Fuller was 3rd with 19-03. Day-1 leader Lee Sisson weighed 8-03 today and fell to 4th.
