B.A.S.S. postpones Day 2 at Champlain

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — After consulting with the National Weather Service, B.A.S.S. officials have postponed Day 2 of the Bassmaster Elite Series event at Lake Champlain due to high winds and the possibility of severe weather.

The National Weather Service predicted 15- to 25-mph sustained winds with gusts up to 30 mph early in the day, increasing to gusts of up to 50 mph as the day progressed.

The full field of anglers will compete on Saturday, with the Top 50 fishing Sunday and the Top 10 advancing to the final round on Monday.
