Fishing is 3rd-most commemorated sport

According to a study by the website Betting.com, fishing is the third-most commemorated sport in the U.S. in terms of sculptures depicting participants, ranking only behind baseball and track and field (and by a narrow margin).

A press release on the study put out by a British public relations firm also pointed out that nearly 16 percent of the sculptures in the U.S. are dedicated to animals, which is twice the number dedicated to women. By contrast, human male sculptures outnumber animals by a 2-to-1 margin.

Take all of the above for whatever it's worth.
