Cook pillaged his own piles

Corey Cook, the 20-year-old winner of the recent Plains Division FLW Series event at Lake of the Ozarks, planted dozens of brush piles over the summer in anticipation of his triple-A debut. That effort paid off as he compiled 49-03 over 3 days to beat out runner-up Jeremy Lawyer by almost 3 pounds.
