3,000 anglers set to converge at Ozarks

Normally held twice per year, the lone Big Bass Bash event of 2020 will take place this weekend at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. The spring edition was canceled due to the coronavirus.

Approximately 3,000 anglers are expected to compete on Saturday and Sunday, with the biggest fish of the tournament earning the angler who catches is $100,000. The event will have special significance for organizer Charlie Terrell, who lost his sister in a boating accident on the lake in July. The driver of the other boat was charged with operating his craft while intoxicated and multiple other felonies.
