Balog: Rough-weather standards lacking

In this week's edition of Balog's Bass War, Joe Balog suggests that tournament organizations need to develop and adhere to some type of standard regarding windy days on big water. The lack of consistency was illustrated recently when the final day of an FLW Series event on Lake Erie was contested on a dramatically restricted playing field, whereas B.A.S.S. (the organization that has taken the most cautious approach to weather of late) allowed final-day competitors in an Elite Series event a week later to venture out onto Lake Ontario in 6-foot waves.
