American Baitworks announced today that it's hired Doug Minor as the company's president. Minor spent 37 years working for Strike King, including a long stint as vice president of sales and marketing.

"I see such tremendous opportunity to make a difference in and for the fishing industry with our brands and through our team. In my time in the industry I've been fortunate to have made lifelong relationships and friendships through a shared passion for the outdoors. I’m excited and looking forward to continuing those relationships in my new role at American Baitworks.”
The American Baitworks consists of six brands – Freedom Tackle, Halo Fishing Rods, NetBait Tackle, Scum Frog, Snag Proof and STH Bait Co.
