ESPN2 to air Eufaula Elite live; Miyazaki stuck in Japan

Bassmaster published today an overview of the upcoming return of the Elite Series at Lake Eufaula next week. It'll mark the first full-field Elite Series event since the St. Johns River in early February. Included in the piece were a couple noteworthy items:

> In addition to the regular Bassmaster LIVE coverage on Bassmaster.com, ESPN2 will carry live coverage from Eufaula all four days of the event, totally 23 hours, according to TVGuide.com. The ESPN2 schedule will be: Day 1 – 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. EST, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Days 2-4 – 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

> The field will be 87 anglers instead 88 because Yusuke Miyazaki is taking a hardship waiver after being unable to leave his native Japan due to COVID-19. The field will be reduced to the top 40 following day 2 with the top 10 advancing to the final round on Saturday.
