FLW Tour angler Michael Neal has operated the Dayton Boat Dock & Grill on the shores of Lake Chickamauga since 2012. He’s added hundreds of new products to the tackle shop and it’s now to the point where there’s not an empty peg to be had. Now, he’s taking the tackle sales online.
Neal launched RealDealTackle.com recently, giving bass anglers another online depot for the latest tackle and baits. Where Neal hopes to separate his online store from others is offering the Tennessee River niche products that are usually only sold over the counter.
“Stuff like homemade flat-side crankbaits, custom hand-tied bucktail jigs and swimbaits,” Neal said.
Those items aren’t yet available through the site, but soon will be, Neal said.
“I had the idea about two years ago, but it’s been a lot of hard work to get it to this point,” he added.
He’s continuing to add new product photos and when orders come in, he’s often the one to pull items off the shelves to be packed and shipped.
