Missile Baits announced Friday it has hired Byron Childers as director of dales.
Childers has spent 13 years in the fishing industry focused on sales and starts in the newly-created position immediately. The position will encompass sustaining and growing existing sales accounts, cultivating new sales accounts, and communicating consistently with key accounts.
“Byron and I have known each other for almost 20 years. He has the exact experience Missile needs and he is a perfect fit to our sales and company philosophies," said John Crews, company owner and Elite Series angler. "We could not be more excited to welcome Byron to the Missile team.”
Childers added, “I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the Missile Baits family. We all share the same mindset and passion for the fishing industry. It’s good to be home!”
Childers has been a sales manager for 13 years in the fishing industry and has fished many local and regional bass tournaments over the years. He also is a firearms enthusiast. He, his wife Ashley and 4-month-old daughter, Savannah, live outside of Nashville, Tenn.
