Country music superstar Jason Aldean will perform a surprise pop-up concert Friday following the day 1 weigh-in of the Bassmaster Classic at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C.
The performance by Aldean, who is affiliated as an ambassador with Field & Stream and Dick's Sporting Goods, will be free of charge. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors for the weigh-in will open at 3:15 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to bring to life Field & Stream’s partnership with Jason Aldean through this surprise pop-up show at the world’s premier bass fishing tournament,” said Robby Dorsch, Field & Stream Brand Manager. “We know a lot of our consumers are also country music fans, so we’re excited to create this unique experience for those who will be in Greenville for this great event.”
Aldean’s surprise performance comes two weeks after he was nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards.
“I’ve always been into pretty much anything outdoors,” said Jason Aldean. “I grew-up fishing with my Dad and Grandad, so it’ll be cool to get out there with Field & Stream and be a part of this year’s Bassmaster Classic.”
