Rayjus co-owner takes leave, loses radio gig

The Herald-News in Joliet, Ill., reported today that Ray Odom, co-owner of Morris, Ill.-based apparel manufacturer Rayjus Outdoors, has taken a leave from the company and has been fired from a job as a radio host following an appearance on the CNBC show "The Profit" that aired Tuesday evening.

On the program, Odom and fellow Rayjus owner Justin Romines unsuccessfully lobbied host Marcus Lemonis for assistance in relieving the company's mounting debt and putting it on the road to profitability. Things turned sour when Odom revealed that his on-air persona is that of a "sexist, egotistical, racist pig."

Rayjus produces dye-sublimated custom apparel, and tournament jerseys comprise the bulk of its business. Numerous tour-level pros are among its clientele.
