Clunn goes into IGFA shrine

Four-time Bassmaster Classic champion Rick Clunn was one of five men inducted into the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) Hall of Fame last weekend in a ceremony at the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium in Springfield, Mo. In a press release, the IGFA said Clunn was recognized "for his endless enthusiasm for the sport of bass fishing, his unmatched four decades of winning B.A.S.S. events and his amazing bass fishing prowess."

Joining Clunn in the class of 2017 were innovator and TV host Larry Dahlberg, Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament founder Peter Fithian, light-tackle world-record holder Mike Levitt and fisheries scientist Eric Prince.

Previous inductees to the IGFA Hall from the bass-fishing realm include Ray Scott, Roland Martin, Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston, Hank Parker, Jerry McKinnis, Forrest Wood, Johnny Morris and Homer Circle.
