Bertrand gets syrup deal

Bassmaster Elite Series pro Josh Bertrand has picked up a non-endemic sponsorship deal with Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup.

"I'm extremely excited and see huge potential for this new partnership," Bertrand said. "The Anderson family has been in the maple syrup business for over 80 years. While Anderson's supplies maple syrup products globally, they remain a third-generation, family-run business. All of the syrup Anderson's sells is U.S.-made. As I travel on tour in 2017 I look forward to running contests and passing out samples on Anderson's behalf."

Steven Anderson, president of Anderson's Maple Syrup, added: “We are excited to partner with Josh for the 2017 season. Maple syrup and fishing go so well together – they both need the great outdoors – and of course Anderson’s Pure Maple Syrup makes for a great fish fry. We wish Josh a great season with lots of early-morning pancakes."
