Miles Burghoff recently wrapped up his season on the Bassmaster Central Opens with a 29th-place finish at the Atchafalaya Basin. He didn't win any of the three events, nor did he finish high enough in the points race to qualify for the Elite Series, but he views his campaign as successful after rallying from a horrible initial day to finish 17th in the Angler of the Year standings.
