There was a time when Joe Balog viewed Mike Iaconelli's whole persona as distasteful, but he's warmed up to the brash New Jerseyite over the past few years as he's gotten a closer look at Ike's enthusiastic interaction with bass fishing fans. After Iaconelli recently spent a full day in New York City's Central Park, giving casting lessons and talking fishing with a lot of people who'd never held a rod before, Balog's opinion of him moved up yet another notch.
