Win Vinson's boat

Bassmaster Elite Series angler Greg Vinson and Outdoor Friends Forever have partnered to provide an opportunity for the public to donate to the organization, and win Vinson's 2015 Phoenix/Mercury tour rig.

Outdoor Friends Forever, a 501c3 organization that provides outdoor opportunities to physically challenged youth, was founded by Vinson's lifelong friend Jim Hardy, who was injured in a tree stand incident many years ago that left him confined to a wheelchair.

Hardy learned how to enjoy the hunting and fishing activities he had his whole life. The OFF organization aids others in being able to experience the richness of the outdoors by hosting them and their families on hunting or fishing outings throughout the year.

Vinson decided to help the organization reach more worthy kids by offering up his tour boat as prize for individuals who donate $100 to Outdoor Friends Forever.

"It's an organization that I have volunteered with since the beginning, and one I am passionate about representing," said Vinson. "I could think of no better way to help than to personally get involved in fundraising efforts, and this is the best way I know how."

Interested individuals from across the country can make tax-deductible $100 donations to Outdoor Friends Forever, and in turn, Vinson will enter their name into a drawing for a chance to win his Phoenix 920Xp powered by a Mercury 250 ProXS, a package valued at more than $70,000 after options. There is no limit to how many donations can be made, and each donation will result in an entry into the drawing.

The drawing will be held on Dec. 5, 2015 at the Outdoor Friends Forever Fall Family Deer Hunt held in Alexander City, Ala. Entrants need not be present to win, arrangements may be made for the boat to be delivered to the winner.
