The team of Dave Cavell and former Bassmaster Classic qualifier Albert Collins claimed victory at the Bass Cat Boats Owners Invitation at Texas' Sam Rayburn Reservoir for the second time in 3 years. Their 33.13-pound total or 2 days edged Lonnie and Billy Ray Turner but just a hundredth of a pound.
Top prize was a 2015 Puma FTD fully rigged with a Mercury 250 Pro XS. Two other 2015 Margays were awarded to as part of the payback valued at over 600 percent.
Jim and Adron Ebarb took big-fish honors with an 8.42-pound giant. Several other fish in excess of 6 pounds were caught.
