While the FLW Tour season finale at Kentucky Lake is merely half over, the field for the Forrest Wood Cup is virtually locked in. Sure, there's some incredible drama behind who's going to win Angler of the Year – Andy Morgan or Cody Meyer – but the 45 anglers who are heading to Lake Murray in mid-August have been determined.
There were three double qualifiers this year – reigning AOY Morgan, defending Cup champ Randall Tharp and Dan Morehead, who won the Rayovac Series Central Division AOY last year – meaning the Top 38 in AOY points are South Carolina-bound, along with the other Rayovac Series division AOYs from 2013, the BFL All-American winner, the TBF Championship winner and the College Fishing champion.
The Forrest Wood Cup is Aug. 14-17 in Columbia, S.C. Here's a rundown of the Cup field (* indicates double qualifier).
