KVD first member of $6 million club

Kevin VanDam is bass fishing's first $6 million man.

With his second-place finish at last week's BASSFest at Lake Chickamauga, VanDam pulled down a $60,000 payday and moved past the $6 million mark for career tournament earnings between B.A.S.S. and FLW. He's far and away the sport's all-time leader in tournament winnings.

He's earned $5,660,476.33 in B.A.S.S. events and another $370,950 in 18 career FLW Tour events.

He came into this season with $5,556,476 in B.A.S.S. winnings, more than twice that of Skeet Reese, who is 2nd on the B.A.S.S. list.
