A contraption built from a tire chain – the type used for traveling on snowy roads – was recently pulled from the bottom of a lake near San Diego by a couple of anglers practicing for a tournament. Some who've seen it up close think it's a device built for retrieving lost lures, but others believe its purpose is to hold pre-caught fish for later pick-up on tournament day.
