Stan Fagerstrom, a prolific fishing writer from the Pacific Northwest and a renowned trick-caster, died this week at his home in Arizona at age 96. A 2007 inductee into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, Fagerstrom covered the first Bassmaster Classic in 1971 and wrote for many national publications.
