Okuma Fishing announced this week that Ray Golden is retiring after nearly 50 years in the industry, including the last 23 as an Okuma Sales representative. He'll continue to be involved with a variety of companies as a consultant.
“I hired Ray Golden and Southwest Marketing in 1996,” recalls Okuma Vice President Sam Brenner. “As a newer brand to the market, Ray’s insight and experience was an enormous help to me personally and to the company. I truly enjoyed working with Ray and will miss his excellent sense of humor.
"We wish Ray the best of luck in his next chapter and appreciate all he did for Okuma.”
