Joe Balog takes a look at a recent study by a Canadian sceintist on the impact of fishing for spawning bass in this week's edition of Balog's Bass War. The study concludes that particular broods can be completely wiped out by the practice, but Balog notes that the seldom- or never-fished lakes on which it was conducted could have different environmental factors in play than bodies of water that see much more fishing pressure.
