After day 1 of the 2016 Smith Lake Southern Open was cancelled due to heavy rains, Jordan Lee figured there'd be no sense revisiting an area he'd found in practice that had some good fish around or on beds. When competition finally got under way, he went back to check it and he's glad he did because the 7-13 kicker helped him take the day-1 lead and ultimately led him to a top-5 finish.
