Miles Burghoff went into last week's Bassmaster Southern Open at Lake Chickamauga brimming with confidence, but came away with a 161st-place finish. He developed a couple of patterns during practice, but his timing was off when the tournament started and a desperate effort to salvage the event via sight-fishing (not one of his strengths) failed to pay off.
