Electronics manufacturer Garmin announced that a new warehouse and distribution center will be built at its Olatha, Kan. headquarters at a cost of $200 million. Construction is expected to take 2 years and will give the company the capability of nearly doubling its workforce (it currently employs about 2,800 people).
