Three top Ranger execs resign

Three top Ranger execs resign

Ranger Boats president and CEO Randy Hopper, vice president of sales Keith Daffron and vice president of finance Mendel Hughes have resigned their positions, a Ranger spokesperson confirmed to BassFan today.

"All three (resignations) were effective as of yesterday," the spokesperson said. "We'll have a statement on it in the next day or so."

Hopper (pictured) began working for the company while he was in high school. Reached by phone this morning, he had little to say regarding his departure.

"I don't really have anything to comment on," he said. "I've been with the company for over 46 years and I'm not there now. It's a great company and I'm sure they'll be fine."

The shake-up comes a little less than a year after Bass Pro Shops purchased Ranger, Triton and Stratos from Fishing Holdings, LLC.
