A report published on Bassmaster.com today says Jared Miller and Yusuke Miyzaki will miss the St. Lawrence River Elite Series this week due to health issues.
Miller had an emergency appendectomy in Missouri this past Saturday while Miyazaki was reportedly hospitalized in Japan recently with an "unspecified illness." Miller was 102nd in Angler of the Year points while Miyazaki was 100th.
The field for this week's tournament was already set to be without Kelly Jordon, who withdrew from the remaining three tournaments after suffering a broken wrist at home.
The field for this week's tournament will be 107 anglers, barring any additional withdrawals. The day-2 cut will see the Top 50 anglers advance to day 3.
