Northland names Naig VP of sales

Northland Fishing Tackle has named Eric Naig vice president of sales and marketing. A fishing-industry veteran and diehard multi-species angler, Naig joined Northland in 2009 and most recently served as brand manager.

Prior to joining Northland, he spent 6 years with Pure Fishing, managing field services and public relations, as well as handling marketing and new-product development duties.

An accomplished angler, Naig competed as a pro for 11 years on the PWT, NAWA and FLW walleye circuits.

“I’m extremely honored and grateful that Northland Fishing Tackle has provided me this opportunity,” said Naig. “I look forward to working with our customers, rep groups and others to expand our business, while maintaining our commitment to offer high-quality, value-conscious products that are made by fishermen for fishermen.”

The company also announced that Gary Morgal, the company's former VP of sales and marketing, has been named VP of business development.
