Boat Bling, the manufacturer of boat-cleaning products, has signed Bassmaster Elite Series pro Josh Bertrand to a sponsorship deal and also announced a contest in which the winner will receive a trip to the Forrest Wood Cup and an opportunity to fish against an FLW Tour pro.
“Josh has been part of the Boat Bling team for years – he just didn’t know it at the time," quipped Boat Bling director of operations Zack Bale. "Josh was initially introduced to Hot Sauce several years ago when he received a sample during a regional tournament we had supported and he quickly became a customer, referring many fellow fishermen and showing them what the Southwestern boaters had known for years – the products work. Now, a few years later, the timing was perfect to bring Josh on board representing Boat Bling officially on the Bassmaster Elites along with Southern California pro Brent Ehrler.”

The contest, called the Boat Bling Challenge, will put the winner in the boat with one of the company's pro-staffers for a 6-hour competition (each will fish from the front of the boat for 3 hours). If the entrant's weight exceeds the pro's, the entrant will earn $1,000, plus the opportunity to win a new Ranger boat.
