Now that the disqualification of Mike Kernan at the Sabine River Elite Series seems to have been settled once and for all, with Kernan credited with a 12th-place finish and Dennis Tietje returned to 54th place, Joe Balog takes a look at the process that led to that conclusion. In his view, it's highly questionable or tournaments to be conducted on venues that offer little access to the competitors and have difficult-to-define boundaries.
