Z-Man to launch event campaign

Bait manufacturer Z-Man has announced that it'll embark on a 29-stop event campaign this year that'll include four FLW Tour derbies and the Forrest Wood Cup, along with three Bassmaster Opens and numerous BFLs throughout the Southeast, Southwest and Midwest.

"We're very excited to build upon our existing partnerships with FLW Outdoors and B.A.S.S.," said Z-Man executive VP and GM Daniel Nussbaum. "Both organizations provide us with a direct pipeline to the nation's most avid, passionate and influential anglers, and present an outstanding opportunity for Z-Man to realize impactful connections with the right audience in the right setting."

On site, attending anglers will be treated to product education and demonstrations, as well as special sales and promotional offerings.

"We have found that the best way to build excitement about our products is through face-to-face interaction with the hard-core anglers that make up the backbone of the sport," Nussbaum said. "This campaign will afford us the opportunity to work with our retail partners to generate buzz about Z-Man that will impact sales as we educate anglers about the benefits of our products."

The campaign will include appearances at the FLW tour events at Florida's Lake Okeechobee (Feb. 9-10), Alabama's Smith Lake (March 9-10), Arkansas' Beaver Lake (April 13-14) and Tennessee's Lake Chickamauga (June 29-30), as well as the Forrest Wood Cup at Louisiana's Red River (Aug. 15-18). Bassmaster Open stops include Tennessee's Douglas Lake (April 6), the Red River (April 27) Alabama's Lake Logan Martin (May 18).
