Georgia's Jason Johnson, who's transitioning from co-angler to the front of the boat on the FLW Tour this year, has picked up six sponsors for his rookie campaign. The list consists of John Megel Chevrolet (Dawsonville, Ga.), 4G Bait Company, Seaguar, Evinrude and Hammonds Fishing Center (Cumming, Ga.).
"Going into my rookie year, I'm thankful to be aligned with companies and products I've used for years," said Johnson, who finished among the Top 4 in the co-angler points in each of the past 2 seasons. "From the John Megel Chevy getting me to the lakes or the Seaguar fishing line getting the fish to the boat, to my Evinrude E-Tec getting me back to weigh them in, it takes a lot of stress off your rookie year having complete confidence in the products you are using."
