    FLW recently posted an article on its website detailing the changes for 2015 in its grassroots BFL series. Entry fees will see a slight increase across the board, but payouts will also go up and more competitors will qualify for regional competition.

    Swindle recounts 22-foot fall

    Bassmaster Elite Series angler Gerald Swindle, who also co-hosts Moultrie's The Hit List on Outdoor Channel, details a recent fall from a treestand in a story published today on OutdoorChannel.com. Unlike Cliff Pace, who was forced to miss this year's Bassmaster Classic and Elite Series season after a similar fall last January, Swindle suffered no debilitating injuries, but he was in a great deal of pain before and during the AOY Championship at Michigan's Bays de Noc.

    Team RainShadow, a Batson Enterprises brand, has added Bassmaster Elite Series angler Keith Combs to its pro staff.

    "I am extremely excited to be working with the Batson Enterprises team," he said. "Utilizing RainShadow rod blanks, ALPS and ForeCast components will elevate my fishing. Their team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. It is always a pleasure partnering with people who share the same passion for fishing and the outdoors as I do."

    Combs will begin fishing his exclusive RainShadow Series branded rod blanks with ALPS/ForeCast components in 2015. Partnering with Power Tackle, the Keith Combs Signature Series rods will be available through various online and retail locations in the near future.
