I learned last year that I can't seem to catch the smallmouths here, so I'm geared up for largemouths. Fishing has been really good in the morning, but after 9:00 it gets tough for me. I'm making that long run (to Ticonderoga), so time is of the essence, and I need to get a few quality bites.

The area I'm going to I've only fished 1 day, so I'll be learning as I go. We're supposed to have low winds (on day 1), so that's good.

If I can get 14 to 15 pounds, I'll be pretty happy.
